About

My name is Kiana Perez Granados, and I am twenty-two years old. I was born in Salinas, California, and moved to Goleta in order to receive my bachelor’s degree in English and Black Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I received a specialization in Creative Writing after taking several courses in my time at the university. As both an Editorial Assistant and Editor in Chief of a literary magazine, I have taken it upon myself to continue with my creative writing and editorial career. I am in the process of founding a literary magazine known as South Hall, which will be a dedicated space to creative writing and art by graduate students across the United States. I am also working on a poetry collection and in the process of finding work related to publishing and editing.
